morally wrong Najib
Najib bang CUEPACS saying "its morally wrong" to demand for bonus. By reading utusan meloya, my understanding was the economy in a good shape then why it's morally wrong to demand? If demanding bonus is morally wrong then how about his image as Altantuya boyfriend. She was killed in terrorist way and the whole world know who is behind the murder. Sir don't you think it's morally wrong for you to run the country?

Sorry I'm not Fool
Muhyiddin said we are equal under the sun while Najib deny umno is a racist party. What a joke from this racist party leaders. Umno policy was race, religion and nation (bangsa, agama, negara) then was changed to religion, race and nation (agama, bangsa dan negara) due to the rise of PAS influence. At certain extend umno has became more extremist and racist compared to PAS. After 2008 political tsunami umno was seen begging the voters that they are not the racist party. At the same time for non-malays umno was seen preaching all malaysian is equal and the latest was muhyiddin statement. While universal human rights declaration clear said, all human beings is equal umno was in denial until the voters decided to deny their political ground. If what Muhyiddin and Najib was seen preaching to win the heart and mind of the voters is true then they must give equal opportunity to all the deserving Malaysian.
In-fact we need 1uitm, 1mrsm, 1 entry sistem to university, 1policy etc not sweet slogan 1Malaysia only. Sorry I'm not Fool.

Spectator video captures SL Police, SLA kill mentally ill Tamil youth
Sri Lanka Police and Sri Lanka Army soldiers beat a mentally ill Tamil youth and forced the youth to drown near the sea near Bambalapitya, Colombo, railway station Thursday. The youth was identified as Balavarnam Sivakumar, 26, of Ratmalana, according to media reports in Colombo, which belatedly listed the youth's identity. "The entire country [Sri Lanka] watched in horror, as a group of heavily built men attacked the mentally unstable [Tamil] youth with wooden poles while he pleaded for mercy, when it was telecast on several news bulletins on Thursday night," Daily Mirror said.
The youth has had mental depression for nearly two years and had received medical treatment in a mental hospital, Sivakumar's brother told the media.
Sivakumar had the habit of throwing stones at vehicles, and the Thursday killing followed a series of incidents involving similar actions by Sivakumar, according to the media.
A video broadcast by Channel-4 allegedly showing Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers extra-judicially executing Tamil captives stripped naked and hands tied behind their back, has drawn worldwide attention, and independent forensic analyses in UK and USA are ongoing to rebut Colombo's cavaliar dismissal of the video as fake, according to reports. Two editors of Sunday Leader have received death threats for covering developing stories on the Channel-4 video.

Bar Council Press Release
The Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board struck Rohaizat Othman off the Roll of Advocates and Solicitors on 7 March 2008 after he was found guilty of misconduct. The Disciplinary Board's decision arose from an investigation into the complaint lodged against Rohaizat Othman by the purchaser of a piece of real property. According to the complaint, Rohaizat Othman failed to refund almost RM 161,000 to the complainant after the transaction was aborted.
Rohaizat Othman appealed against the decision of the Disciplinary Board to the High Court, and the appeal was dismissed on 12 August 2009. He is therefore legally disqualified from practising as an advocate and solicitor.
The finding of misconduct is personal to Rohaizat Othman, as the Disciplinary Board would not hold a lawyer liable for the actions of his/her law partner(s).

Tapak Kuil Seksyen 23 Shah Alam
Sepatutnya Noh Omar mencerminkan diri sebelum mengeluarkan pendapatnya.

LTTE leadership safe: Tiger intelligence official
TamilNet reported Head of International Secretariat of the Intelligence wing of the LTTE, Mr. Arivazhakan, who contacted TamilNet Friday categorically denied the reports that the LTTE leader Mr. Velupillai Pirapaharan has been killed. Mr. Arivazhakan urged the global Tamil community not to trust the "engineered rumours," being spread by the Government of Sri Lanka and its military establishment. "Our beloved leader is alive," he said and added that the LTTE leadership will make contact with its people at a suitable time in future. "These rumours have been set afloat to confuse the global Tamil community which has been voicing support for the liberation of Tamil Eelam," he further said. Mr. Arivazhakan, who verified his identity through a senior reporter in Sri Lanka, did not reveal his location due to security reasons. [Source TamilNet]Friday, May 22, 2009

BRIEF STATEMENT ON RELEASE OF REMAINING HINDRAF LAWYERS
Whilst HINDRAF is glad the unjust incarceration of its lawyers has finally come to an end, it is blatantly obvious that the release ordered is to divert the attention of the Malaysian public of the ugly episode in Perak State Legislative Assembly yesterday. There are other issues that the Government of Malaysia under the leadership of PM Najib has to resolve and we wish to state the following :
1) We are not thankful for the release of our lawyers under ISA unless and until the Government fulfils the 18 point demands that was submitted to the Government in 2007.
2) The Government acknowledges the neglect and positive marginalisation of particularly the Malaysian Indians over the last 52 years and apologizes for its wrongdoing to the Malaysian Indians.
3) All ISA detainees have to be released unconditionally (immediately) and the Government orders the closure of Kamunting detention camp and the repeal of ISA.
4) The Government takes positive steps to uphold Rule of Law and the Federal Constitution.
5) The Government with immediate effect sacks the Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General who have played a major role in suppressing democracy , fairness and truth revamp the whole Judiciary system which is flooded with its cronies.
6) The Government immediately orders the Perak State "Government" to seek an immediate audience with the Perak Ruler to dissolve the state Legislative Assembly and allow the People of Perak choose the next State Government.
7) All persons unjustly arrested and charged under various illegal assembly/sedition and other politically motivated criminal charges be released and charges levelled against them be immediately withdrawn.

Semi Value family have NO RIGHTS
I went to Ellam Tamils Pooja in Batu Caves yesterday but then really get pisst-off when the organiser offered the stage to indrani semi value to deliver a short speech. I was damn angry when I saw vell paari semi value given front seat. I got angered not because they share the semi value's name but purely to the attitude of this man and his family who keep silent about the RM2 million collected to aid the Sri Lanka Tamilians during the tsunami. They have no rights to speak about the plight of Eellam Tamilians after Chitrakala exposed semi value absconded RM2 million collected for Sri Lanka Tamilians. Until today he didn't send any single cents to them. What the hell and rights they have now to talk about the Eellam Tamilians? Don't get cheated again from this THIRUDAN.

Message from P.Uthayakumar
My 500th day under ISA |
P Uthayakumar | Apr 26, 09 7:55am |
Today April 26, 2009, marks my 500th day under Umno's captivity without being charged, tried or found guilty in a court of law. I suppose this is 'justice' for me, an Indian ethnic minority and human rights lawyer of 18 years. Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's continued unilateral decree is that I be made to serve a jail sentence of two years and indefinitely thereafter under his regime. There are prisoners here at Kemta Kamunting, Taiping, serving their eighth year of their ISA sentences. But I have no regrets. I know in my heart that every day of my imprisonment will liberate and open up a thousand new minds against Umno's atrocities and injustices in their marginalisation, discrimination, suppression, oppression and the exclusion of Indians from the mainstream of national development in Malaysia. Today, I have grown 500 days older. Today, I have lost 500 days of my precious freedom. Today, it is 500 days since I shaved my beard or combed my hair to protest my ISA detention. Today, it is 500 days since I have been made to wear the very same two pairs of dark blue baggy pants and white restaurant waiter-like prison uniform. My left foot On Jan 31, 2009, I had accidently injured the last toe of my left foot, which had gotten worse because of my long standing diabetic condition. From day one of my injury, I had repeatedly asked to be treated at the Gleneagles private hospital as I no longer have confidence in the independence of government-service doctors, which I believe had been compromised by the Home Ministry and its Special Branch police officers. Under protest, I agreed to be treated at a government hospital on Feb 3, 2009. As I had anticipated, the doctor refused to admit me despite my swollen leg and blackening left foot condition. The doctor told me there were no hospital beds and neither did she want to refer me to an orthopedic surgeon or a consultant physician, as well as a cardiologist to treat my silent heart attack during my ISA detention. No cast was put on my leg. No medication was prescribed. This doctor told me that my leg would heal on its own. My suspicion was confirmed when the doctor, who had written my medical notes in a police file, gave it back to the police officers accompanying me. By the second week, my leg got even worse and despite repeated pleas, the prison authorities refused to take me even to a government hospital, which I agreed to go under protest. I had lodged four police reports but again zero action was taken. Even my statement was not recorded. The worst case scenario ran across my mind. I may lose my left foot. For the first time, I realised that as a lawyer, I could not even save myself. There was nothing I could do, I was a prisoner. But even then, I had thought to myself that should the worst happen, I would put on a prosthesis (artificial leg) and keep walking. I feel that at the end of the day, it was the prayers held at scores of Hindu temples nationwide by supporters of Makkal Sakthi that had actually saved my leg and ensure my well-being in prison. Surviving on bread and biscuits On March 22, 2009, I found pieces of beef in the chicken sambal served to me. Mohamad, a Pakistani national, and Abdul Sarjon, a Sri Lankan national, and fellow detainees who worked at the prison kitchen confirmed that chicken and beef were cooked in the same pot after which the chicken was scooped out and served. I immediately lodged a police report. But again nothing happened as usual. But had it been the other way round - the victimisation a Malay Muslim - a different set of rules would be applied by Umno. But I suppose this is all part and parcel of PM Najib's One Malaysia policy. One Malaysia, two systems. Since that day, I have refused to consume cooked food from the prison kitchen in protest against the violation of my religious rights in contravention of Article 11 of the Federal Constitution. As a Hindu, I do not consume beef. I am now surviving basically on bread and biscuits. Throughout these 500 days, there was never a single day that I ever regretted starting and spearheading this struggle. I believed in justice, including for the minority ethnic Indians, in Malaysia. In these 500 days, I have refused to meet any of the Special Branch officers who came to meet detainees once in every two to three months to "plead for my release". I have done no wrong and I am not prepared to beg for my freedom. I had earlier also refused to meet Umno's home minister, knowing fully well that my release from prison is in his hands, for the very same reason. My biggest satisfaction and what keeps me going in prison is the true and sincere spirit of the struggle through Hindraf's Makkal Sakthi. It moved me to see thousands of Hindraf supporters who had braved FRU's tear gas and water cannons, who were roughed up and beaten by the police, arrested, handcuffed, thrown into jail, prosecuted in court and bravely standing up in the dock to face possible jail sentences, losing their jobs, and with their wife and children suffering. All these sacrifices, just for a public cause to put to an end to Umno's racism, religious extremism and exclusion of the Indians from the mainstream of national development. To all of you, I salute you and I am proud of you. Makkal Sakthi Valga. I miss my freedom I am suffering from this imprisonment daily. I miss my freedom. I miss my family, my wife and children. But I am prepared for the worst, even if it means another 500 days or more of imprisonment. I will do this just for the cause of Hindraf. Umno can imprison me but they cannot imprison the forces of Hindraf's Makkal Sakthi. Makkal Sakthi was the tipping point in the March 8, 2008 general elections. It was the triggering factor which resulted in Umno/BN losing two-thirds majority in Parliament as well as political power in four west-coast states. Makkal Sakthi once again showed its prowess at the Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang by-elections. I never, even in my wildest dream, thought I would see Makkal Sakthi forces to this extent in my lifetime. I am no Mahatma Gandhi or Nelson Mandela, but Umno has to understand and accept that it was the genuine grievances of the people - the pent-up pain and suffering, misery and heartache - that brought about the unprecedented 100,000-strong Hindraf rally on Nov 25, 2007. Please be patient. Umno will not change, but we will change Umno in the 2012/2013 general elections. We will put an end to Umno's bully tactics and its rule by fear. We have waited 52 long years. Please be patient. In another three or four years, there would hopefully be a new beginning, a new political structure and a Malaysia with equality and equal opportunities, including for the Indians. A Malaysia where the Indians would be a part of the mainstream in national development. Every day and every moment of my imprisonment, my thoughts and prayers are with Makkal Sakthi. I have plans for our further struggle. Please pray for my freedom, and for Umno's end of its rule so that justice will finally prevail. Umno may have punished me with this 500 days of imprisonment but you, the Makkal Sakthi, will in turn punished Umno/BN where it hurts them most - the ballot box. God bless. I Want Follow My Mother
Karan Dinesh, 11 does not want to follow his father and become a Muslim. He wants to remain Hindu and be with his mother. But according to his mother M Indira Ghandi, 35 his father, K Patmanathan, 40 had converted him and his two siblings into Islam on April 12. He and sister, Tevi Darsiny, 12 wasn't present when they were converted. The father who has assumed the name Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah, apparently used just their birth certificates to make them Muslims. A younger sibling Prasana Diksa, aged 11 months was taken by the father earlier. Karan Dinesh's situation and that of his sister is rather uncertain at the moment because in 2007, the highest court of the land ruled that according to Article 12(4) Federal Constitution, the consent of one parent is sufficient in the conversion of a child. The family is now in limbo. [Source: Malaysiakini] - browse the blog to view the clip.

Elizabeth Decided To Stay
Decision to stay 'my toughest decision' ever |
Apr 15, 09 4:58pm |
The following is the full statement issued by Elizabeth Wong, state assemblyperson for Bukit Lanjan and Selangor executive councillor for Tourism, Consumer Affairs and the Environment. These past two months have been more than an ordeal, one which I would never have wished for any citizen to have to suffer through. I have been stripped bare publicly – both figuratively and literally – by force and against my will. My personal life has been violated and assaulted by none other than criminals. Even up to this evening, I continue to receive threats from unknown persons. This is not a scandal, as some have suggested, but a clear criminal act. This is no less a form of criminal intimidation, a form of political violence, and one which, if I chose to retreat into silence, would in turn indirectly affect women, especially women politicians. Gutter politics is not and should not be part of our political culture, and for those who depend on exploiting and supporting such a crime, is an indication of the kind of politicians and persons they are. I stand for a person's right to privacy. I stand for 'New Politics' – a politics that encourages intellectual discourse, reasoned polemics and ideological debates, not one which resorts to gutter-level politicking which seek to smear, to slander and to violate one's privacy to score political points. This is the hardest decision that I have to make in my life and it is with the greatest humility that I accept the Selangor state's offer to remain in office. I wish to thank menteri besar and the Selangor exco, my staff, my fellow Aduns, fellow politicians from Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional, PKR leaders, the women's wing of PKR and the grassroots, and my legal team for their support and guidance. I wish to thank my lawyer Derek Fernandez for his legal counsel and unwavering belief in me. Respectfully, I wish to thank HRH the Sultan of Selangor for his guidance. I am humbled by the encouragement and support shown by the media, my family and friends, the NGOs, the tens of thousands of people who signed the petitions on my behalf and who wrote to me, and especially my constituents who stood by me in these trying times. I also wish to thank the police for their professionalism in addressing the issue at hand and I look forward to them apprehending and charging the criminals soonest. My only wish is to serve my constituents and the state to the best of my abilities and with the help and cooperation of the people, to make this state, this country a better place for all. The struggle continues, and our work has just begun. Elizabeth Wong Adun Bukit Lanjan Exco for Tourism, Consumer Affairs and the Environment (source: malaysiakini) |

Y.B.Mani, now is your time to proof, you are worth and do not disapoint your supporters. You must deliver and people will evaluate your performance. Ungrateful Community???
Newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin said that the BN felt deceived by Chinese voters and that the community should be grateful for government assistance to Chinese schools. Wow, umno expect the community to be gratefull just for few hundreds thousand promised in eve of by-election? How about the loyalty of chinese community all this while to bn, was their loyalty paid well? During the 1999 election after Anwar was sacked from government, Chinese and Indian voters safed the bn coalition from being replaced by opposition but umno didn't appreciate the loyalty then. What the community get in return other than "pendatang" label? Muhyiddin in just a few days started to talk non-sense.
