What happen to natang?

Karpal has question's the authority of the Perak regent in-ordering to re-instate of Datuk Jamry Sury as Perak Religious Department director. Karpal said "it was the right of the state governments to move any of their civil servants without consulting the heads of state. In-fact, umno also took the same actions in past and even in present. Do you guys still remember, how TDM remove the Selangor state mufti on modelling controversy? Did TDM consult Selangor Sultan? Even during the reformasi era after TDM removed Anwar Ibrahim, so many religious officer including at the state level was removed, did umno consult Palace? It's umno's political agenda on making a big hu-ha on this issue and to create fear and anger among the malay community so that umno can re-gain their support. By the way, what happen to Terengganu case when umno printed a banner says, kami nak jusoh, natang [natang referring to binatang = animal in general]. Karpal raised up the issue from legal perspective but umno did it in rowdy way. No one charged for that but then they want to charge Karpal for treason? A big sandiwara from umno.

Zahidi Hamidi said it

Zahid Hamidi said, there was no federal law to prevent anyone from leaving Islam and currently only Negeri Sembilan syariah law did not allow anyone to leave the faith. Then wondering why the have the create the havoc in Revathy's life and even Lina Joy if only Negeri Sembilan has such law to prevent the followers to leave? Is that means, syariah court judges made their own law or Zahid Hamidi don't know what he is talking about? Hope the registration department will assist Tan Ean Huang to get the new My Kad with religion stated as Buddhist.

RPK Out On Bail

[updated: 22:20 / 8 May 2008] Blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin agreed to accept bail but will be released from his remand only tomorrow. Mean while a group of concern citizens has gathered in front of Sg.Buloh detention jail and gave the morale support to RPK.

You are allowed to renounce

Penang Syariah Court allows Muslim converter Siti Fatimah Tan Abdullah [real name: Tan Ean Hung] to renounce her faith back to Buddhism. Progressive decision, what is the point to incarcerate her body when the authority will fail to control her soul on her decision to go back to Buddhism. Better let her go rather than make her life mockery and tarnish the image of Islam.

RPK WILL GO TO JAIL

[updated: 00:34 / 8 May 2008] 'He is on a hunger strike. It is a protest. He is not guilty and he is being punished,' his distraught wife, Ms Marina Lee Abdullah said.

Yesterday Police summon him to Jalan Duta Court but then today morning they called and ask him to go to PJ Court. They charged him under
Section 4(1)(c) of the Sedition Act for publishing seditious article on April 25 on Malaysia Today. I read the article five times but then I don't get any thing seditious but may be Najib can take him to court for defamation case but he has no guts to do that. So Najib used the government machinery to suppressed him and indirectly create fears among the blogger's. The judge fix the case from 6 to 10 Oct and granted a bail of RM5,000. RPK said I will go to jail and the police took him to Sg.Buloh prison. RPK they only can incarcerate your body not your mind or your spirit. The day has started for Najib.

100 paid Bloggers

Wow the new minister for ministry of information has appointed 100 bloggers to counter the blogger who are not in-line with umno@bn. All this paid bloggers will be given high technology lap-top and paid monthly. Millions will be spent for the newly appointed paid bloggers and the bigger portion of the said amount will go for their salary. This 100 personnel is a top up for the existing bloggers attach to the ministry. There is a lot of differences between the paid bloggers and the one who take personnel initiative to run his/her own blog. The paid bloggers will never be able to counter the real bloggers as far as they work for monthly wages. They will work office hours but then the original bloggers will work round the clock to put his/her thoughts in writting. The spirit of original bloggers will remain high although they are not paid from people's money. The war that will never end and the paid bloggers will never win.

Najib's Force Retirement counter started

Raja Petra Kamaruddin said, "I have been ordered to surrender at the Jalan Duta Magistrates Court at 9.30am ... to be charged for sedition," Recently he wrote "Let's send the Altantuya murderers to hell' on his blog, Malaysia Today and the day after, Najib and his wife denied any link with the Altantuya murder case. Then police raid his house and tomorrow he will be charged in court. Another friend says, nothing to worry, he know how to win the case and it's bailable. But then, my worried is not for Raja Petra but to Najib. The charge is the starting point for Najib's political end. May be the same strategy as Anwar Ibrahim case. Anwar made a police report on the writer for "50 dalil kenapa Anwar tidak boleh jadi PM" but then police dig out and charged Anwar in-court and the rest is history now. So may be this is the starting point for Najib force retirements. Let's wait and see the progress.

Zahid know your facts

Zahid Hamidi the newly appointed non-ulama minister in PM office in-charge on Islamic Religious Department said, government in process to review the law related to the conversion matters. He did mention few times that non-muslims can go to civil courts if they are not happy with the disbursement of the deceased property to the non-muslims party. He did said, the government will issue the registration card to those newly converted. End of the interveiw script, I realised Zahid do not know what he is saying because what ever he said is already in practice except for the non-muslims going to civil court to solve the proble. Everyone know, the syariah court is only for the muslims. When there is a disputes between muslims vs non-muslims in religious matters, the law says go to syariah court but then non-muslims has no standing. Even the syariah lawyer said, non-muslims has no remedy in this issue. This was the issues that make the non-muslims community fed-up but then Zahid in his interview keep on mentioning that nons can go to civil court. The committee which are in process of reviewing the law has "NO" non-muslims representative at all but this committee is the one who are going to draft the law which will effect the non-muslims. Oh my GOD, whay can't they appoint the non-muslims into the committee? Is it a sin for Zahid to appoint the non-muslims into the committee? Zahid should look into it and do not play politics any more. Work for the Malaysians and not for a single community.
