Deoxyribonucleic acid

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and some viruses. The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information. Forensic science uses techniques developed in DNA research to identify individuals and identify suspects who have committed crimes. DNA from semen, skin, or blood taken from a crime scene can be compared with the DNA of a victim or suspect, and the results can be used in court as evidence. [Question] 10 years ago, when umno decided to charged Anwar Ibrahim under the sexual harassments, the authority took his hair, blood and skin sample's for DNA testing. I believe, since it was a high profile case, the authority were kept the record. So why can't the authority use the same DNA testing report to investigate saiful's allegation? Even if the report was done 20 years ago, DNA still will be the same and no changes on that……. why they want his blood sample again? Do they have any specific agenda? I'm wondering too, why they refuse to provide him or his lawyer, saiful's police report copy?

Malaysiakini reported, opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was arrested by the police just outside his home in Bukit Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, at 12.55pm today. He can be held in custody for up to 14 days, after which he must be charged. Sodomy is a non-bailable offence, punishable by up to 20 years in jail.

Shabery Chik Should Resign?

Debate is over and it’s a good sign for the freedom of speech but then I don’t think after this any umno minister’s will dare to take Anwar to life debate. Anwar has presented his case very professionally but Shabery Chik, Information minister fail to counter anwar’s idea but he is doing more personnel attack towards Anwar. Shabery Chik also failed to address the question and have diverted the question by attacking Anwar’s past activities as a university student. Shabery Chik has repeated the answer and he fail to counter Anwar’s ideas. In all 4 segments Anwar has presented his plan very consistently but Shabery failed on each segment. The result Anwar win, 4 – 0 against Shabery Chik. So does Shabery Chik dare to submit his resignation letter?

BN staged Sandiwara

Yes, Y.B. Dr.Wan Azizah has registered his motion of no-confidence last week but they didn't plan any demonstration. BN staged a sandiwara by proclaiming that PR will organise the mass demonstration and government must take a precautions to overcome the security problem. "No sense" .... that is my reply to ill minded BN MP's. Why you are so worried, if you have the full back-up from your own man. Just go for the motion and get the vote of confidence rather than rejecting the motion before any debates. This show's BN leadership has no confidence in their own man. The roadblock has created the maasive traffic jam and havoc in KL. May be the umno government want to punish the KLites for voting PR MP's. May be they want to send a message to PR supporters, PR will create havoc to the country if they take over the power. The reality is BN staged drama to cerate havoc in KL not PR.

Saravanan; Shame! Shame! Shame!

Friday (11 July 2008), Semi Value host the dinner for all the MIC branch leaders. Ex-deputy president D'Subra was invited and given a main VIP table. Party Information chief Datuk Saravanan (deputy minister for the federal territory) who are vying for the Deputy President post got angry and leave the dinner half-away. His supporters also walk out. Semi Value on commenting the incident said, Saravanan was upsad with the food quality and nothing personnel. Saravanan now desperate to go up the rank in party because he knew, if he miss the boat now then it will be the end for his political carrer. The way he carry him self in the dinner is a shame for the party. As a chief information officer and deputy minister he should know how to carry him profesionally unfortunately he no nothing about the profesionalism yet holding a post as deputy minister. Shame! Shame! Shame!
