Just ignored him

S.Samy Vellu says he will seek re-election for his "last term" as MIC President in the next party elections scheduled for March 2009. [Semi Value making another mistake's in his life by seeking re-election to the party. Supposed by now he should do some constitution reform to make the party system workable for the democratic process. Semi Value has hijacked the democratic system practised in party and until the last party election, no one can win if they decided to go against him. Although now the situation is different but then I dont see any capable leaders in CWC to take the challenge against him. But I'm confident, party members will slowly abandon his leadership and join the opposition. So semi value going to be the toothless tiger and head of the party without members.]

Malaysian-Indian Speaker

It's never happen since the Independence day. But today, the chances to see Malaysian-Indians appointed to be speaker of a state assembly is on track. It's going to happen in a state of Perak, with a Menteri Besar from Islamic Party (PAS) and senior EXCO from DAP. While Pahang MIC state leadership are begging their Menteri Besar to appoint the MIC man as an EXCO, the Pakatan Rakyat has promised the more prominent position for Indians. I can see the shadow of new Malaysia for Malaysian. [For your information, the Speaker is the second highest post after Menteri Besar]

Cabinet Re-shuffle???

BN components members from Sabah/Sarawak are putting pressure on BN chairman to appoint more representative to federal post. They have send crystal clear disatisfaction signal to him; some rejected the deputy minister offer and one deputy minister resign after accepting the post initially. Source said minister in PM Department, Dompok might resign pending the feedback from next monday meeting. If the source is right then we can expect the same action from Shafie Afdhal another minister from umno Sabah. Chairman expected to meet Sabah BN, next monday and most probably, he  will bow to the pressure and re-activate the Ministry of Special Affairs for Sabah/Sarawak. By creating the said ministry, Chairman can appoint 2 extra minister and 2 deputy minister just to cater the Sabah and Sarawak BN components members. But if Chairman agreed on that then another history will be created; Cabinet re-shuffle to not even one month old new government. Let's wait and see....

Myanmar's Makkal Sakthi

The last election was held in 1990 and the winner was Aung San Suu Kyi's party. In 1990 general election, Myanmar's "Makkal Sakthi" has decided to takeover the country administration from the autocratic military junta. But then the army general's refute the victory and they put Suu Kyi under house detention more than 12 of the past 18 years. She can't even travel when her husband passed away in foreign country. They supressed her supporters and many die while in detention. Myanmar military violently quashed peacefull disatisfaction protest yet nothing can stop the "Makkal Sakthi". Now military has draft the new constitution with main agenda to bar Suu Kyi from contesting the election which is expected in 2010. On top of that, the junta want to maintain their presence in politics by allocating 25 percent of seats in both houses of parliament and the law makers cannot do any amendment without the consent of more than 75 percent lawmakers unless supported by the military, which is impossible. They announced that it will hold the referendum expected in April on a new constitution and it's people's power again to decide whether they want to accept the new draft or reject it. I do solely believe, the "Makkal Sakthi" in Myanmar must reject the draft because the new constitution must be people's oriented not the military tools to remain in domestic politics. Military's role is to take care border of the country not the government. Let the civilian to run the government. Vote to reject the military from politics and freedom for Myanmar. Show the "Makkal Sakthi/People's Power".

Please Stop

Aiyoyo Samy, please lah stop feeding the lies to your own man. On sunday, You said, detainee's family ask your help and then how come Madam S.Puspaneela [YB Manoharan's wife] has different version of song. I dont think he is willing to lie for the the sake of political power. My source said, all 5 detainee's family meet Anwar Ibrahim to seek the release of 5 and none of them meet you. Stop please stop.

DAP assemblyman quits

[updated: 19:12/ 31 Mac 2008] It's a U-turn: A.Sivasubramaniam has retracted his resignation. Source said, Indian will be appointed as a speaker for the state hall.

Buntong state asembly person A.Sivasubramaniam has quit the party because only a single Indian was appointed to Perak's state EXCO. <he made a mistake. He should remain in party and work for the community. What is the point talking about more representative when the policy is still very
discriminating>

Semi Value: stop telling the lies

[edited: 12:45 / 31 March 2008] Yesterday, the defeated MIC President call for the special session with the MIC division leaders to discuss the re-branding of MIC. But it's look like majority of them dont understood what kind of rebranding Semi Value are intend to do when he failed to strategies his departure from party. Semi Value also keep on harping that he rejected the senatorship to concentrate on re-building party. Semi Value must understand, Indians are not as stupid as he think. Badawi has given a clear signal before and even after the election, those who has been defeated in general election will not be appointed back to Cabinet through the back door, meaning that, Badawi never offered the senatorship to Semi Value. So I dont understand why Semi Value are keep on telling lies to his own party man, that he rejected the senatorship and intent to revamp the party. Don't he has the integrity and responsibility to tell the truth?
