Say Thank You to our beloved Prime Minister

Well finally, he decided to use ISA to overcome the minority community grievances. When he take oath as a fifth Prime Minister, he did said, he will practice more transparent and openness and ask people to work together with him. Even recently also he did mention, he is the Prime Minister for Malaysian and beg the people to tell him the truth. Unfortunately his statement is just a “sweet candy” and he used to forget on what he said.

Everyone knew, we are at the corner of the election and it’s a open secret that malay votes has been divided among the UMNO, PAS, PKR and a small portion goes to DAP. Racism used to be the booster for the Malaysian political system especially to UMNO led BN party and race card will be used in every election. UMNO will tell the malays, if you don’t vote UMNO then you are going to loose all your special privilege and to non-malays, if you dont vote BN then you wont have peace in your life because PAS will talibanise the community. In general, May 13 issue will be played in government control media. End of the day, the silent community who fear for their life will think, why want to take the risk and will cast their vote to the same party.

The same goes to Indian community. For the past eleven(11) general election, they voted to BN party although, only the puppet in MIC gain from that decision. They get nothing from government or MIC yet they give a full back support to MIC and BN party with the hope one day, this government will wake up from their racism and will do something to overcome their plights. That was the only hope for last 50 years of the nation building. When TDM announces 3% equity for Indians by 2010, almost every Indian overjoyed and really hope government will walk the talk but then when Pa Lah said 3% equity by 2020, it's understood this is another political game from the highest level. When TDM announces 3% equity by 2010, definitely he knew, he will not be in office by then but at least he manage to make Indians happy for a while. The same goes to Pa Lah’s 3% equity by 2020, he know he wont be around by then and let the 6th PM handle the matter which I’m confident the 6th PM will say by 2040 government will make sure Indians have 3% equity. From 4th PM to 6th PM, Indians are hearing all the sweet words without the proper planning and implementation.

So when someone who are suddenly daring to challenge this UMNO led BN government, Indians who was all this while hoping for the changes but get nothing went to give a full back up to this daring voices. Never in history, Indians went to street to show their dissatisfaction but on 25 Nov 2007, they came from all over the country with their own expenses to express their grievances in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. So who should be blamed for these peace demonstrations which later turn to violence due to the provocation from the provocateurs?

Unfortunately until today, the UMNO led BN government failed to come out with any positive strategy to overcome the grievances of the community but has used all the government media and agencies to suppress the leaders of the 25 Nov 2007 peace demonstration. Even the UMNO leader has gone overboard by calling the Indians as a traitor for the country and some bigots was suggesting, revoking the citizenship of the community. On top of that, the so-called leader has used the demonstration for their political agenda to recapture the malay votes and even went to screen the short documentary about the poor community in India. But what they failed to understand, India has a special privilege quota for the Indian Muslim community who was the biggest minority in India. Malaysian Indians are not asking any special privilege but want a fair and equal opportunity to have a better life. Is that wrong?

After 50 years of Independence, today Indians has been labeled as a traitor of the country and ungrateful to the UMNO led BN government just because they ask government to look into their living conditions. Is that wrong or shall we call Indians as a traitor just for showing their dissatisfactions? I’m not denying, one of the point stated in memorandum was related to “genocide” which is untrue at the moment but that was not the only point stated in the memo. How about the other points? Why Pa Lah not dare to talk about the other points?

After Indians was so loyal to the UMNO led BN government for last 50 years, now time has come to change their mindset. Indians must come out from their own shelf and prove to the nations, they are not going to show a stupid loyalty to anyone any more after this. If UMNO led BN party failed to address their plights and then no point to vote them into office any more. Even Indians must disassociate their self from white elephant (MIC) and teach them a lesson especially Samy Vellu for showing Indians a way to be a failure.

Meanwhile Malaysians should say Thank You to our beloved Prime Minister for his capability on driving Malaysians to be a failure community.
